One-Handed

Hey, my other arm is back! LoL.

As you guys know, I injured my arm a few weeks ago while doing sports. Well, to keep you guys updated, my arm is recovering now although I still can't do much with it.

Went to the physio for checkup. He said that it was just an elbow sprain. Thank god it's not a fracture. If not, my elbow would be in a cast for months. Grr. Btw, the pic below is taken on the night of the fall itself.

Note that the bandage is in the wrong place. LoL. The pain initially started from there, but as time goes by, the elbow starts to hurt alot.

While I had this injury, I couldn't use my arm at all, let alone lifting it above my chest level. Besides that, I have to practically carry my arm around everywhere I go. Fortunately for me, the physio gave me a sling to hang around my neck.

Well, it looks kinda cool at first. You get sits on buses because ppl see that you are less mobile. Yea, Sydney buses do reserve seats for less mobile passengers like me. Haha. Come to think of it, I doubt I will ever get a seat if I'm in one of those public buses back in Msia.

Bah... This injury is nothing to cheer about. Being less mobile, it's hard to get around your daily life. Imagine doing your laundry, cooking, bathing and almost everything with just an arm. It's possible but it's certainly not easy. Come, who dares to take the challenge to go one-handed for a week? Let me know of the results kay?

This gets me to think about those less fortunate people out there who are handicap. I used to think why would they wanna beg for money when they still have another arm to work. Now that I know that it's not easy, I understand why some of them choose to beg. There are limited things that they can do, let alone finding for a job. Which employer would wanna hire an unproductive worker?

So peeps, if you ever see a less fortunate/handicap people when you go out, plz plz do lend them a hand if they ever needed one.

P.S : My elbow's gettin better now. Able to bend them upwards and downwards but not being able to lift anything heavy yet. Grr. Assignments are due soon btw.

Cheers.

I only help those that help themselves. Thats why I never help beggars. They could have done simple things like sell tissue for RM1 and I'd still buy cos they are dooing something about their life. And Livee, nobody can break your record. Haha.
