Happy New Year !

Happy New Year !

LoL. Yeah, I know the date is no where near new year. Just wanna shout out. That's all.

Haha.

I've a question. Why does everyone celebrate New Year's day on the 1st of January every year?

Is it because the calender says so?

Well, if you really don't know why, scroll down for the answer...

Bah. Dun ask me coz I don't know either ! :P

Haha, anyway, was just wondering. Let's say you were born on January 1st. This means that you get to celebrate your birthday and new year's day together.

But what if you were born on, say April 27th, (Yah I know it's my birthday, it's just an example btw) shouldn't you celebrate new year's day on that day itself?

Think of it, your birth date represents you growing another year older, which indirectly, means that you were on earth for another year since you were born.

So instead of going around jumping and shouting on the eve of New Year's day (31 dec), shouldn't you be celebrating it on the eve of your birthday itself?

But then, when you think about it, you would most likely celebrate that day by yourself. Unless you share the same birthday with someone else close to you. Haha.

Dun get what I was trying to say? Nvmle. Just wondering only.
